Our heart felt condolences to the bereaved family, and to the family of Gurukul. We are very sad of the fact that we will be missing a friendly face when we walk into the seminary. However, we thank God that she has entered into the heavenly rest, and also for the great contribution that she has imparted to each one of us.

Due to sickness Usha Rani stopped coming to College three years back. The day before her death she talked about Gurukul to her family members. Mr. Subburam recollected that she considered her years in Gurukul as best in her ministry. As you know she was loved by her students and the staff here. May our Good Lord give peace and comfort to the bereaved family.

Dr Mercy Rani wrote to me about Usha Rani: I know her very well. they were also working with FMPB for more than 20 years and I stayed with her for the methodology seminar in UTC five years ago.
She was an ordained minister in the Church of South India (Vellore
Diocese-honourary ordination) not by the Methodist Church but she was
a member of the Tamil Methodist Church, Vepery.
Thanks Mercy for this correction
